We begin with the weight, drape and feel of the cloth—not with an image that must be copied exactly.
Cloth & time
We are not interested in perfection that erases the hand.
Natural materials do not stay as they were on the day a piece was finished. Cloth softens and takes on the marks of the body and daily life. We make each garment with those changes in mind.
Finding the form
The silhouette is built around movement, rather than holding the body inside a fixed shape.
Washing & waiting
Water and time enter early, revealing how the material truly settles.
Meeting again
Fitting, adjusting, repairing: the relationship continues well beyond delivery.
The present archive records material, finished garments and light. Cutting, fitting and handwork will be added as those moments are photographed truthfully.
