05 · VISIT

A visit begins with an introduction.

QINGCHEN has no public opening hours and does not take orders online. We would rather begin by hearing where you are coming from, who introduced you to QINGCHEN and what draws you here.

Water and distant mountains in Dali
01

Through a friend

Begin with the friend who introduced QINGCHEN to you. If we already know one another, simply use the way we usually keep in touch.

02

Tell us what brings you

Share where you live, when you expect to be in Dali, and whether your interest lies in clothing, objects, space or a possible collaboration.

03

A personal reply

Every message is read and answered by us, personally. If the timing feels right, we will agree on the number of guests, the length of the visit and how we will meet.

04

Receive the address

The exact address and directions are sent only after the visit is confirmed. Nothing is booked automatically through the website.

At the studio

What a visit may include

  1. Sitting down over a pot of tea
  2. Seeing a small selection of works and materials
  3. Trying on garments and talking about the body and use
  4. Sometimes sharing a simple meal
  5. Discussing adjustments, a commission or future work only when it feels relevant

We will not ask about your budget when we first speak, and a visit does not need to end in a purchase. Getting to know one another matters more than making a quick sale.
